Circulation Policy/Procedures

PK - 1st grade students may check out  1 book and 2nd - 6th grade students may check out 2 books.

Students may place “holds” on books that are checked out to other patrons. When the book is returned, it will be set aside, and the student will be notified that the book is available for check out.

Books are considered overdue after two weeks from the day they were checked out.

Students may renew their books for an additional two weeks. The student must bring the book to the library to renew it, so long as no one else has requested the book.

If a book is damaged, the student should bring the book to the library and speak with the librarian to see if a damaged book fine will be assessed.

Lost and damaged books may be paid for by credit card via RevTrak or cash. All money collected for lost books is used to purchase new books.

Any student with financial constraints should see the librarian about other means of paying off the debt.

If a lost book is found, the student may be reimbursed for the book if it is returned by the end of the school year.
